Claude Théberge (1934-2008), was a Canadian artist born in New Brunswick but was raised and worked in Montreal, Quebec. He studied art in Quebec at the l’École des Beaux-Arts de Québec, he then later studied in Paris a the l’École Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts and l’École du Musée du Louvre. During his lifetime, Théberge created a host of pieces for public display, including a mural for the main hall of the Quebec legislature and, in Montreal, sculptures at several Métro stations, stained glass pieces for the St-Jean-Baptiste de la Salle Church, a fountain at Viger Park and a concrete mural-sculpture on the Concordia University campus.His work was also exhibited around the globe and collected both publicly and privately, including by the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art and the Kennedy Collection.
Claude Langevin is a Quebec artist born in Montreal in 1942
Claude Langevin is a self-taught artist who paints landscapes in the Canadian tradition. Like the well-known Group of Seven artists, he begins with the unique reality of Canadian landscape and presents his own highly-personal interpretation using bold colours, imaginative composition and interesting explorations of perspective. Early in his career, Langevin worked with acrylic and spatula but, after “rediscovering” the work of Tom Thomson and Clarence Gagnon, began to use oil and brush.
His work is held in many public and private collections.
ARMAND TATOSSIAN (1948-2012)Born in Egypt in 1948 to Armenian parents, Armand Tatossian in an internationally recognized artist.
In 1965, he dedicated himself to painting full time, which allowed him to travel and exhibit his work internationally. In 1973, Armand became a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, at the time, the youngest artist ever to be elected. He exhibited in North America, Europe and Asia and enjoyed great success, before his passing in August 2012. Armand Tatossian’s work is displayed at Koyman Galleries in Ottawa, Ontario..
A native of Mauricie, the painter Gélinas has been working in the field of art for over forty years. Roger Alexandre was born in Montreal in 1942. Roger Alexandre taught for a few years before studying painting for two years with Brother Jérôme. This teacher passed on automatist techniques and Borduas’ teachings to his student, a largely self-taught artist. Since then, his work has been featured in many exhibitions in Quebec, the United States and Europe.

Normand Boisvert was born in Trois-Rivières in 1950. He started by drawing because he loved and knew naturally how to draw. Then he embarked on portraits, which was the logical next step and experimented with watercolour and pastel. From 1970, he discovered and experimented with oil and began to produce landscape and rural scenes. Portraits and still life are also very present in his creation.With a career of fifty years, Normand Boisvert remains a painter whose unique signature and distinctive style is recognized. He does not intend to stop, especially as the demand for his paintings continues in Canada and extends to Europe

Stan Ian was born in Leningrad, Soviet Union in 1969.He started drawing when he was 15 years old and participated in many competiions organized for highschool students in Leningrad. When he was 20 years old he was invited to take part in several group competitons and won 2nd and 3rd prizes.In 1993 he immigrated to Canada and lived in Montreal ever since. After graduating from Concordia University he continued to paint on his free time and considered painting as his hobby. Currently he is a CEO of ArtistiqueOriginals.com.
Carmen Doreal is the artistic name of Romanian-born poet and artist Carmen Tuculescu Poenaru, who has been living in Montreal since 2001. Author of more than a hundred works of acrylic and oil on canvas, Carmen Doreal has participated in countless international painting exhibitions in Europe and Canada. She has had four solo exhibitions: two organized by the Galerie d'art Inter-Pallas in Montreal in 2009 and 2010, and two in 2012 and 2016 organized at the Deux-Montagnes Municipal Library, where the poet-artist-painter resides currently north of Montreal.She is a member of International Academy of Visual Arts of Quebec.
